When Your Hot Water Heater Fails SERVPRO® Is Available 24/7 To Assist

6/23/2022 (Permalink)

Failure to check your hot water heater on a regular basis can result in water and mold damage.

Rarely is a hot water heater right out in the open like a couch, or television.  They are usually out of sight, which leads them to be out of mind. A hot water heater can have a water line fail, or even the holding tank can form a leak.  If it is a small leak the moisture from the closet being closed will begin to form mold. Not until the water line actually forms a larger hole allowing the water to escape through the bottom of the door, which allows the water to infiltrate into the adjoining room, or rooms.  The water supply will need to be cut off, and the hot water heater removed.  Once this is done SERVPRO can begin a water mitigation, and once completely dried out can begin a mold remediation. SERVPRO will get you back to "Like it never even happened."
