SERVPRO Recommends Moving Your Refrigerator Occasionally If You Have A Water Line Attached

7/7/2021 (Permalink)

Checking your water line to your refrigerator to help to avoid extensive water damage and mold.

When a water supply line to the refrigerator goes unchecked there is potential that a water leak can develop.  Once the leak starts and goes without notice there is potential for not just water damage, but mold can and will develop as well.  As you can see in the picture there was water damage which also affected the floor below, and mold had developed. Should you discover water damage and/or mold damage, call SERVPRO. Our technicians are IICRC Certified and will walk you through the steps that need to be taken for a complete dry out. A Water Mitigation will be the first step, and depending on the extent of water damage will determine the number of days for the drying process.  Normally it is three days.  Once completely dried a Mold Remediation will be performed to avoid the potential of mold in the future.

We can help get you back to "Like it never even happened."
